  1.  Alkanes 嘅 functional group 就係無 functional group

  2. Alkane 分子愈大,  分子之間 van der Waals’ forces 愈大,  因此 m.p. & b.p. 會愈高

  3. Alkanes 分子內所有 covalent bond 都是 non-polar, 所以, 主要進行 substitution reaction
